Amiram Levinberg
Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer, Gilat Satellite Networks
Amiram Levinberg is a co-founder of Gilat and returned to the Company in 2005 as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Levinberg previously held positions as Gilat’s President, Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Levinberg served in a research and development unit of the Israeli Defense Force (1977-1987) and was awarded the Israel Defense Award in 1988.
Mr. Levinberg holds an MSc. in Digital Communications and a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology, Haifa.
Mr. Levinberg also serves on the Boards of Cardboard Industries and Kargal, a cardboard manufacturer in Israel, and Kasamba, an internet company offering online expert professional advice.
Jaron Lotan
Chief Operating Officer
Jaron Lotan serves as Gilat’s Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining Gilat, Mr. Lotan served as active Chairman and Director of a number of hi-tech companies including Negevtech, Radview and Magink. Mr. Lotan previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd. (TCNO on Nasdaq) until the sale of Tecnomatix to UGS Corp. in 2005. Prior to this, Mr. Lotan held various executive positions at Orbotech Ltd., a leading supplier of AOI and other productivity solutions for the electronics industry, including Corporate Executive Vice President for Business and Strategy. Mr. Lotan is co-founder of Rosh Intelligent Systems Inc., a software company offering knowledge based solutions to customer support organizations, and served as Corporate VP Sales & Marketing and General Manager of North America for the company. Mr. Lotan holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics and an M.A. in Economics, both from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Andreas M. Georghiou
Chief Executive Officer, Spacenet Inc.
Andreas M. Georghiou is the Chief Executive Officer of Spacenet Inc.
Previous to Spacenet, Mr. Georghiou was the Chief Commercial Officer for SES Americom and its predecessor GE Americom, a unit of General Electric. He was also a member of Americom’s Management Committee. Mr. Georghiou has been with SES Americom for over 20 years in various leadership roles including President of Americom Asia Pacific, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. While the company was still GE Americom, he served as a GE Capital Officer. He started his career at RCA’s world renown David Sarnoff Research Labs.
Mr. Georghiou has a MS in Operations Research from the Wharton School of Business, where he studied under a Fulbright Scholarship, and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ari Krashin
Chief Financial Officer
Ari Krashin serves as Gilat’s Chief Financial Officer.
Previously, Mr. Krashin was Gilat’s Director of Finance. Before joining Gilat, he served as a CPA for Kesselman & Kesselman, PriceWaterhouseCooper’s Israel office. Mr. Krashin is a CPA and holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from the College of Management.
Gai Berkovich
Vice President of Research and Development
Gai Berkovich serves as Vice President of Research and Development for Gilat.
Mr. Berkovich has over 14 years of experience in R&D and operational management. Prior to joining Gilat, Mr. Berkovich held a variety of executive positions at different hi-tech companies, including serving as Vice President of Research and Development for Verint Systems, where he managed over 200 developers, system architects, team leaders and QA managers. He also served as Vice President of Research and Development for Intercast Networks, a flexible video platform for managing and delivering personalized video from storage.
Mr. Berkovich holds an MBA from the Interdisciplinary Center of Herzeliya, and a BSc. in Computer Science from the Technion institute, Israel.
Ili Cohen
Vice President of Corporate Development
Ili Cohen serves as Vice President of Corporate Development for Gilat.
Prior to joining Gilat, Mr. Cohen was Vice President of Corporate Business Development and Strategy for Comverse (NASDAQ: CMVT) where he led a number of successful acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives. Previously, he worked and advised a number of leading firms on business and strategy, including Coca Cola Company, Pelephone Communications, DSP Group, and Commerce One. Ili Cohen holds a B.A. in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University, Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, with Academic Distinction.
Doron Elinav
Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
Doron Elinav serves as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Gilat.
Mr. Elinav is responsible for the core marketing activities, including strategic marketing, product management and corporate marketing. Prior to joining Gilat, Mr. Elinav held various senior marketing positions in the hi-tech industry, including in Flash Networks, Communications Systems (Comsys) and Radcom. Mr. Elinav holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Yossi Gal
Vice President System Integration & Information Technologies
Yossi Gal serves as Vice President System Integration & Information Technologies.
Mr. Gal previously served as Vice President of Research and Development for Gilat Network Systems. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Engineering and Operations for StarBand Communications Inc., a high-speed satellite Internet service provider in the US. Before StarBand, Mr. Gal worked at Gilat as the Director of Development for Communications Software. Mr. Gal began his telecommunications career with the Adacom Group in Israel, where he managed data communications development projects.
Mr. Gal holds a BS, Summa Cum Laude, in Computer Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa.
Rachel Hermelin

Racheli Hermelin serves as Vice President of Human Resources for Gilat.

Previously, Ms. Hermelin had served as acting head of the department. Prior to Gilat, she worked in human resources at Applied Materials. Ms. Hermelin has a BA in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Glenn Katz

Glenn Katz serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Spacenet Inc.
Glenn Katz serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Spacenet Inc. Leveraging his 20+ years of industry and leadership experience, he is currently responsible for driving the company’s growth, improving operational efficiencies, and managing strategic business activities. Prior to joining Spacenet Mr. Katz was the Acting CEO and CIO of StarBand Communications Inc, a consumer satellite company. Prior to StarBand, Mr. Katz held several executive roles with Gilat Satellite Networks in both the Tel-Aviv headquarters and Florida subsidiaries and helped launch Gilat Latin America, Inc. serving as the Chief Technical Officer and VP of Operations. Before joining Gilat, Mr. Katz worked with Digital Transmission Systems, and Scientific Atlanta as a design and development engineer. Mr. Katz earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
David Kagan
Senior Vice President, Business Development, Spacenet
David Kagan serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Spacenet.
David Kagan has more than 25 years of experience with a broad background in management, business and finance. As Senior Vice President of Business Development at Spacenet, he has responsibility for overseeing the company’s long term growth and strategic planning. Previous to Spacenet, Mr. Kagan served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Telecommunications Network, Inc. (MTN) where he led the company through five ownership changes and grew the revenue and profitability of the business substantially during his 12 year tenure at MTN. He also served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Norwegian Cruise Line Ltd where he was responsible for financial operations, mergers and acquisitions, and leading the refinancing of $1 billion of long-term debt. Mr. Kagan holds a Masters Degree of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a BA in both Finance and Marketing from the University of South Florida.
Susan Miller
CEO of Spacenet Integrated Government Solutions Division
Susan Miller serves as CEO of Spacenet Integrated Government Solutions Division.
Susan Miller has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and satellite sector and has a broad background in management, technology and operations. Susan is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of Spacenet’s government services unit, Spacenet Integrated Government Solutions, focused on delivering network and communications solutions to the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, the Intelligence community and other government agencies. Previous to Spacenet, Mrs. Miller served as President and Chairman of the Board for Intelsat General Corporation. She has held a range of executive roles, including: Senior Vice President for SkyTerra LP; Vice President Engineering and Operations for Lockheed Martin World Systems; and Director Advanced Applications Development for COMSAT Corporation. Mrs. Miller earned a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MSEE with a concentration in satellite communications from the University of Southern California.
Guy Moskowitz
Executive Vice President Sales
Guy Moskowitz serves as Executive Vice President of Sales for Gilat.
Mr. Moskowitz is responsible for managing Gilat’s worldwide sales force. Prior to joining Gilat, Mr.Moskowitz was Senior Vice President of worldwide sales at IXI Mobile (mobile messaging devices and services) and previously served as IXI’s Vice President and General Manager EMEA & APAC. Prior to IXI, Mr. Markowitz held senior positions at Ness Technologies and Amdocs. Mr. Moskowitz was also Founder and CEO of Targetix, an Internet real time personalization and advertising company. Guy holds a B.Sc. in Mechanics and Robotics from Tel-Aviv University and an MA in Distributed Networks and Encryption from Israel’s Weizmann Institute.
Yaniv Reinhold
Vice President Financial Planning, Treasury & Administration
Yaniv Reinhold serves as Vice President of Financial Planning, Treasurey and Administration for Gilat.
Since joining Gilat in 1999, Mr. Reinhold has held a variety of senior positions in sales, business development and finance, including his most recent position as Gilat’s Associate Vice President of Financial Planning & Treasury. Mr. Reinhold holds a B.A. in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration, both from Tel Aviv University.
Rachel Prishkolnik
Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Rachel Prishkolnik serves as Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Gilat.
Rachel Prishkolnik joined Gilat in November 2001 and has been the Company’s Corporate secretary since 2004. In 2007, she also became General Counsel. Prior to Gilat, she worked at the law firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP in Los Angeles. Before that, Ms. Prishkolnik worked at Kleinhendler & Halevy (currently Gross Kleinhendler Hodak Berkman & Co.) in Tel Aviv.
Ms. Prishkolnik holds an LLB law degree from the Faculty of Law at the Tel Aviv University and a Bachelors of Arts from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She is licensed to practice law and is a member of the Israeli Bar.
Yair Shaharbany
Vice President, Customer Services and General Manager of Gilat Peru
Yair Shaharbany serves as Vice President of Customer Services at Gilat and General Manager of Gilat Peru.
At Gilat, Mr. Shaharbany previously held positions as AVP Customer Services, Director of Program Management and Director of Sales, Africa. Mr. Shaharbany holds a BA in Economics and Logistics from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
Elli Yaniv
Vice President Operations and General Manager of Gilat Colombia
Elli Yaniv serves as Vice President of Operations for Gilat and General Manager of Gilat Colombia.
Prior to Gilat, Elli Yaniv was VP and GM of Flextronics Semiconductors. Previous to that, he held positions including VP and GM for Europe of Flextronics Design, Chief Operating Officer of DII Semiconductor, Manager of Israel Operations at Orbit Semiconductor, and Business Unit Manager, MLM Division, at Israel Aircraft Industries. Mr. Yaniv holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University, as well as an M.Sc. and a B.Sc., both cum laude, in Industry and Management Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa.
Erez Antebi
Senior Advisor
Erez Antebi serves as a Senior Advisor to Gilat.
Mr Antebi served as Gilat’s Chief Executive Officer for Gilat Network Systems (GNS) and Spacenet Rural Communications. Mr. Antebi previously served as the CEO of Clariton Ltd, and, before that, as Gilat’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). Other senior positions held by Mr. Antebi in Gilat were: Vice President of Sales, General Manager for Asia, Africa and Pacific Rim and Vice President and General Manager of Gilat’s subsidiary in the United States. Prior to joining Gilat, Mr. Antebi was a Product Manager at Tadiran, responsible for international sales of its military HF radios, and a systems engineer at Rafael.
Mr. Antebi holds an MSc and a BSc, Summa Cum Laude, in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa.
Joshua Levinberg
Senior Advisor
Josuha Levinberg, a co-founder of Gilat, serves as a Senior Advisor for Business Development and Corporate Strategy.
Mr Levinberg previously served as Executive Vice President for Corporate Business Development and Strategy. He has also held positions as V.P. Marketing for G.E. Spacenet, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of G.E. Capital and then established and was Chief Executive Officer of Global Village Telecom (GVT). In 1990 Mr. Levinberg moved to the U.S. to establish Gilat’s presence there and served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Gilat Satellite Networks, Inc.
Mr. Levinberg holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from TelAviv.
