Gilat to Highlight Next-Generation Mobility, HTS and Cellular Solutions at Satellite 2015

Petah Tikva, Israel, March 5, 2015 — Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT), a worldwide leader in satellite networking technology, solutions and services, announced today that it intends to highlight its next-generation mobility, HTS and cellular solutions at Satellite 2015,March 16-19 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. – Booth # 5035.

At the event, Gilat intends to display its:

  • Low-SWaP mobility solutions, for high-speed communications on land, in the air and at sea
  • SkyEdge II-c HTS system, supporting multiple applications and managed by TotalNMS, Gilat’s comprehensive network management system
  • SkyEdge II-c Capricorn 200 Mbps VSAT, the fastest TDMA VSAT in the world for maximum LTE handset performance enabling quick deployment of LTE networks
  • CellEdge integrated small-cell-over-satellite solution, for rapid turnkey deployment of 2G/3G networks anywhere required

Gilat executives are scheduled to participate in three key panel discussions.

Amir Yafe, Executive Director, Product Management, will take part in the “Small-Cell Civil and Enterprise Applications in Orbit” panel discussion in conference room #202B, on March 16th at 10:30 am, and in “The State of Satellite’s Play in 3G & 4G Backhaul and Traffic Offload” panel discussion, in conference room #201 on March 18th at 1:45 pm.

Russell Ribeiro, Regional Vice President LATAM, will take part in the “Americas – Open Skies, Green Fields and the Hockey-Stick Promise” panel discussion, in conference room #207B, also on March 18th at 1:45 pm.
