Gilat to Present Innovative Cellular-Over-Satellite Solutions at LTE Latin America 2015

Mobile Network Operators to enjoy rapid LTE network deployment with 200Mbps VSAT solution and extended rural coverage with full turnkey small cell solution

Petah Tikva, Israel, April 2, 2015 — Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT), a worldwide leader in satellite networking technology, solutions and services, announced today that it intends to present its rapidly deployable cellular backhaul solutions at LTE Latin America 2015,April 7-9 at the SulAmerica Convention Centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – Booth #1.

At Latin America’s premier LTE event, Gilat will highlight its SkyEdge II-c Capricorn, a VSAT designed to support Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) in rapidly and cost-effectively expanding LTE coverage.

Gilat’s Capricorn is the fastest TDMA VSAT on the market – with cellular backhaul capabilities of up to 200 Mbps – maximizing handset performance on LTE networks. Fast deployment and improved network quality are just some of the benefits Capricorn brings MNOs. At the event, Gilat will also present CellEdge, its integrated small-cell-over-satellite solution enabling MNOs to increase their subscriber base in the most remote regions through a full turnkey deployment of 2G/3G networks.
