In mission-critical C4I missions, combat operations, border patrol and emergency response, satellite communications on-the-move (SOTM) is often the only reliable alternative for ensuring continuous broadband communications for assets in the field.
Gilat’s RaySat SR300-M is a compact, MIL-STD compliant antenna, featuring a reliable, two-way antenna system that enables real-time broadband satellite communications, primarily for voice and data, while on-the-move or on-the-pause.
RaySat SR300 antennas feature an advanced flat panel array, which covers both Rx and Tx bands. The antenna features multiple onboard tracking sensors, which enable accurate tracking, short initial acquisition and instantaneous re-acquisition after signal loss.
Minimal size, weight and power (SWaP) allows for convenient installation on small vehicles and marine vessels. The extremely lightweight system ensures safe mounting, for quick and easy operation by non-technical personnel.
The SR300-M can be deployed as part of a complete integrated SOTM terminal – consisting of the antenna, a Gilat BUC and Gilat’s military-grade MLT1000 modem – controlled by a unified management system. Integration with Gilat’s special-purpose SOTM modem allows for operation in low SNR conditions. When integrated with 3rd-party modems, the antenna is supplied with an Antenna Control Unit (ACU).
