Gilat’s RaySat ER6000-M is an innovative, MIL-STD compliant, 2-way antenna system that simultaneously covers the civilian Ka, military Ka, and Ku bands. This tri-band solution enables real-time broadband satellite communications for video, voice and data on-the-move in the most demanding operational environments.
Specifically designed as an integrated tri-band system, RaySat ER6000-M allows easy and quick electronic switching between frequency bands, without requiring any disassembly or parts replacement. The antenna uses high-efficiency waveguide panel technology to maximize throughput.
The antenna’s multiple onboard tracking sensors enable accurate tracking, short initial acquisition and instantaneous re-acquisition. The rugged and sturdy antenna structure makes it particularly suited for battlefield operations in harsh environments.
The ER6000-M can be deployed as part of a complete integrated SOTM terminal – consisting of the antenna, a Gilat BUC and Gilat’s military-grade MLT1000 modem – controlled by a unified management system. Integration with Gilat’s special-purpose SOTM modem allows for operation in low SNR conditions. When integrated with 3rd-party modems, the ER6000-M is supplied with an Antenna Control Unit (ACU).
