SATRANGER Fully Integrated, Lightweight Manpack for First Responders
Fully Integrated, Lightweight Manpack for First Responders

First responders, government agents and NGO personnel count on on-the-move and on-the-pause satellite communications to efficiently manage emergency response and public safety efforts in the most challenging environments.

Gilat’s lightweight, fast-to-deploy SatRanger manpack tactical satcom terminal provides emergency teams and first responders with reliable broadband connectivity where existing infrastructure has collapsed or in remote areas beyond the reach of terrestrial networks.

SatRanger is highly integrated and its ergonomic design ensures maximum comfort and resilience. The antenna, built-in modem, BUC and LNB are integrated in one, ruggedized enclosure, built to withstand harsh environmental conditions. As required in time-sensitive field operations, the antenna can be set up for use in minutes, with fully automatic pointing and without requiring any special tools for assembly.

SatRanger’s embedded GLT-1000 modem supports reliable data, voice and video transmissions, with high availability and excellent performance, even when Signal-to-Noise ratio is extremely low.
