Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Production Site Manager to lead and optimize operations in a fast-paced avionics integration environment. The ideal candidate will combine strategic planning skills with hands-on operational oversight, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and driving efficiency across the team.
What you will do
- Oversee and guide two team leaders and their teams (approx. 12 employees).
- Develop and maintain integration schedules aligned with supply chain and customer demand.
- Forecast material availability and proactively mitigate risks.
- Communicate regularly with customers on status, projections, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and Part 21 standards for handling aircraft components.
- Support ERP system transition and cultural change initiatives.
- Act as a strategic planner while remaining capable of stepping into daily operations when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management within an aviation or avionics environment – must.
- Familiarity with AS9100 and Part 21 compliance – must.
- Strong background in supply chain processes and production scheduling.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for internal teams and external customers.
- Ability to manage under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment
This role operates in indoor settings, including office and warehouse/airplane hangar environments, requiring the use of standard office equipment and safety gear. Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration may occur.
