Who we are looking for
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and qualification of AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, as well as control and monitoring hardware for new and existing products. This role involves performing system-level verification, component-level troubleshooting, and validation testing to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support product development, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement across designs and processes.
What you will do
- Designs AC/DC, DC/DC power supplies and mixed signal circuits
- Supports new product development, production and various trouble-shooting needs
- Ensures that the highest quality standards are being followed throughout the design cycles
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment is maintained
- Follow RTCA/DO-254 process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Hold and attend various meetings to lead and provide effective communication
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Capable of designing AC/DC, DC/DC Power supplies and mixed signal circuits
- 4-5 years of experience in designing new circuit and supporting production efforts
- Responsible for component selections and detailed design analysis/decisions
- Must be able to work from a product specification to produce specific circuit designs
- Experience with digital design and communication (I2C/SPI/Ethernet/RS485/422/232)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Comfortable in coordinating with various disciplines
- Work well under pressure to meet program goals
- Proficient at Circuit Simulation, Schematic Capture
- PCB layout experience is an advantage
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required typing skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to sit for an extended period of time
